I am from Louisville, Kentucky where I attended duPont Manual High School. I went to the University of Kentucky for undergraduate where I received two degrees in psychology and history and a minor in piano performance. After I graduated from college, I moved to Saint Louis to complete my doctorate at Washington University in St. Louis. I live with my husband and our dog Ford, and two cats, Maslow and Chevron in Carrboro, North Carolina. In my free time, I like to go on walks, go hiking, travel, and cook.
